A girl born and brought-up in a small village on the bank of river Indus in Ladakh amidst the mighty Himalayas. My world had  a limit. The beautiful blue sky, melt downs of snow from mountains as pure water, mighty mountains all around, beautiful
happy people, fresh air, chirping of birds, a feeling of serenity and tranquility every moment.
This was the world for me and my life would revolve around these.
I was always curious to know what lies beyond those mighty mountains, where are the places I read about in school, where is the vast blue ocean the teacher talks about.
When I was studying in Leh, my father used to take us to nearby places for picnic or mostly for a visit to a monastery.Chandigarh was the first place that I saw when I visited my elder sister. She was studying in Chandigarh.I was not really comfortable to be in  a place with no mountains and blue sky.I would take my gaze as far as I can to see If I can find  mountains or atleast a small hill to only be disappointed. For somebody who has seen only mountains everywhere, seeing only buildings and roads as far and as wide as you can see is not something easy to digest. Before Chandigarh, for school trip I went to Srinagar twice but since Srinagar is also a hilly area it didn’t seem strange to me.
And after Chandigarh I have been to a lot of places around the country like Himachal,Uttrakhand,Delhi,Gujarat,West Bengal, every corner of Maharashtra, Rajasthan,Goa, etc to quench my thirst of exploring every beautiful place. During my stay in Mumbai where I was working, I went on treks to lots of places in Western Ghats which was not less than magic.I was in love with these places. I feel there are lots of beautiful places around our country and abroad waiting to be explored. Those beautiful places make us feel that life is not meant to be spent in one place. Everytime I am in the lap of nature and its beauty, my soul expands in the worship of the creator.I want to know about people in remotest corner of the world, climb mountains for those beautiful views, see the sun sink in the ocean in every part of the world.

Ratangarh,Western Ghats
Kumbhalgarh, Rajasthan

I always wish to be that small girl full of excitement to see and know the world and will never let that passion die.I want to leave my footprint in every beautiful place. The reason I started this blog is to collect the memories from my travels across the country so that 10-20 years from now when I look back to my life, I can relive all these moments through my blog.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
